Mari Michelson
Born 1995 in Tallinn, Estonia. After 16 years of playing with such eccentric style choices that they made my older brother walk on the other side of the street to the same school as me, I moved alone to England to Study Fashion and Textiles. There, I learned apparel design, garment construction, tailoring and general style principles.
Dipping my toes into different fields(like linguistics and software engineering) and exploring curiousities in other countries(Finland and Netherlands), I finally circled my way back to Fashion and Textile Design in 2020 with launching my brand Mari Michel.
Since then, I’ve offered personalized style consultations with one purpose: to help people return to their own essence, not fit into trends.
GUILTY PLEASURES:
Exploding the seeds of Impatiens parviflora or commonly known as the touch-me-not plant during forest walks. Back scratches. Cursing in Estonian. Watching lightning. Longboarding while listening to Watturu Chant on repeat.
