Mari Michelson
Born 1995 in Tallinn, Estonia. After 16 years of playing with eccentric style choices that somehow caught on in my classroom and influenced my schoolmates to express themselves more playfully, I moved across Europe to England to Study Fashion and Textiles. There, I learned apparel design, garment construction, tailoring and general style principles.
Dipping my toes into different fields(like linguistics and software engineering) along the way and exploring curiosities in other countries(Finland and the Netherlands), I finally circled my way back to Fashion and Textile Design in 2020 with launching the brand Mari Michel in the Netherlands.
Since then, I’ve offered personalized style consultations with one purpose: to help people return to their own essence, not fit into trends.

Exploding the seeds of Impatiens parviflora or commonly known as the touch-me-not plant during forest walks. Back scratches. Cursing in Estonian. Watching lightning. Longboarding while listening to Watturu Chant on repeat. Friet met Joppie saus.
